How the YouTube Algorithm redirected my focus.
Back in 2018/2019 I started using YouTube to replace cable TV. Most of my searches were for music and fashion. Little did I know that the algorithm had introduced me to KarenBritChick . Her weekly “Man on the street” style video about “What people are wearing” caught my attention. I was hooked. She had an interesting personality that I resonated with and I began “binge” watching her content.
Fast forward a few years and Karen inadvertently introduced me to a few of her friends. Jenee Naylor and Monroe Steele

Their video titled “The truth about working in Social Media” Part 1 “How to make money online” struck an inspirational chord.
Through the common thread of fashion. The belief that I too could “make money online”. I got to work exploring the idea of making videos and thus learning how to use editing software.
In conclusion, with their advice I truly believed anyone could utilize the platform to potentially make a living.
